Canadian ELCIC Links

The Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada is the major Canadian representative of the traditions of the Lutheran reformation of the catholic Christian church. This site contains a wealth of information about Lutheranism including the creeds we confess as Christians.

The Eastern Synod is one of five synods of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada, consisting of 208 member congregations and 78,000 baptized members. The territory of the Eastern Synod runs from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario to Halifax, Nova Scotia.

The Thames Ministry Area is a collection of congregations in south western Ontario in and around London and Windsor. St. Peter’s Brodhagen is the most northern congregation in our ministry area.  Our nearest ELCIC neighbors are St Paul’s in Brunner (Ellice Township), St. Peter’s in Milverton, St. Peter’s in Zurich and Zion in Stratford; each being about 30 to 40 minutes away by car.

Lutherans Connect is a place to come for discussion, reflection, socializing and, of course, fun. Designed for university/college/campus life people.

MLUC is Canada’s oldest Lutheran theological seminary is associated with the Eastern Synod of the ELCIC and is a federated college of Wilfrid Laurier University. Located in Waterloo, ON Canada.

Lutheran Association of Missionaries and Pilots – a group of Pastor/Pilots who fly in to northern communities to do their ministry.  St. Peter’s supports LAMP’s ministries regularly by giving the  loose offering on the 3rd Sunday of each month.
